Josh Bloomberg, DO

Dr. Bloomberg has been an internist in the Premier Medical Group since the summer of 2019. Prior to this he served honorably as an internist in the United States Navy from 2012 to 2019, earning the rank of Lieutenant Commander and a Navy Medal of Commendation for outstanding primary care provided to the Joint Task Force at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He is a graduate of the internal medicine residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA, and is board certified in internal medicine. During his residency, he earned an award for clinical excellence on his Intensive Care Unit Rotation. He scored at the top of his class on all his in-service training medicine exams and well above average on his national board specialty exam. He graduated from Touro University, NV, Medical School and the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a bachelors in English. His special interest includes intra-articular corticosteroids for joint diseases and Botox for migraine headaches.
